
David P. Sandrow, PhD
David P. Sandrow, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience providing psychological services to individuals, couples, and families. He practices at the Miami Counseling & Resource Center in Coral Gables, Florida, where he treats a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance use disorders, and eating disorders. He also serves as Director of the Educational Testing & Counseling Center, specializing in psychoeducational assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, and gifted placements.
Dr. Sandrow earned his PhD in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2003. His doctoral research focused on identity styles in women with eating disorders. He completed extensive clinical training through internships and postdoctoral residencies, developing a strong foundation in cognitive-behavioral therapy, biofeedback, and crisis intervention.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Sandrow has contributed to academic and research communities through peer-reviewed publications and professional conference presentations. He has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Miami and supervised doctoral-level trainees.
